Wow! This is just amazing Shahn. Down to the velvet on the antlers, this picture is alive. It's almost as if I were to sit here and stare, that the Caribou would keep walking, getting closer and closer. Where was this picture shot and was there anything seperating you and the animal? (Like a fence lol) #4936705

Thanks for the compliment Lindsay. My wife Ross and I sat on the plateau in the mountains for this shot. We where in the Yukon, the caribou would skirt around us and re-approach us with curiosity. It was a nervous situation at the same time as exciting. The closest they came was about ten-fifteen feet, they are gorgeous.
