Black & Yellow Argiope

This spider is also know as the "yellow garden argiope" and the "writing spider."
I took this photo against a bright sky and used the flash, thus the white background.
I rotated the image 90 degrees for better viewing on computer screen.
Photo taken on 08/04/07. Slight increase of saturation and sharpness*
Aperture = f6.3
Shutter = 1/200s
ISO = 200
Focal Length = 165mm
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens
