Hi Julie what lens did you use for this shot I dont have a Cannon but was looking at the EOS 40D a friend of mines at work just got it and loves it I guess im just a NIKON guy lol #4940622

Hi Julie, nice shot, good vertical composition. The photo could really benefit from some additional sharpening to enhance the textures. Also, I think the contrast between the foreground and is too great such that the lightness of the background is a little distracting. Some selective levels or curves work should be able to fix this as it does not appear that you blew out the highlights.

I agree with Bill that the bg is a little distracting because it is so light compared to the rest of the image. Very good job. #4941906

Robert ...
for this shot I used a canon 18-55 ... pretty basic lens. I have always been a canon girl ... it's what my dad always uses and I just followed him and got hooked on canon.
