Love the misty atmosphere, subtle colors and wonderful lighting... #139086Julie Abston June 18, 2004
Thank you so much Bonnie!!! I did a lot of PS work on this. I am uploading the original for comparison. Thanks for taking the time to comment!!! #603301Cathy Barrows June 18, 2004
great sky colors...how did you achieve it....my only suggestion would be to remove the power lines #603325Lori Ditlefsen June 18, 2004
I agree, the power lines have to go! The sky is pretty but almost over powering the shot. I might have left the blue sky but sharped the color and made the clouds bright white. I love the color and look of the grass and bales. Nice job Julie! #603353Julie Abston June 18, 2004
Thank you so much Cathy and Lori for your helpful suggestions!! I don't know why I left the power lines...!? I do agree that they should have been cloned over! I achieved the sky colors by selecting just the sky, then using a filter in the flaming pear plugin called aetherize. Again, I really appreciate your comments!! #603536Alisha May Furbish June 18, 2004

Great work! Jury's out w/me on the power lines... They add realism and scale, and they are everywhere, it seems, where farming is...If you take them out, when you upload the new pix, be sure to include this for comparison! #603855

Wow, I have to disagree with Lori, I think the sky color is what makes this so impressive. I love all the tones and colors in this! I love hay bale shots anyway, and I think this is the prettiest one I've ever seen. Great job Julie! Powerlines gotta go though!da #609385
