Peeling back the Orange!

Uploaded: July 27, 2007

Description

This picture is a close up of the back side of an orange colored lilly in my neighbor's flower garden, with the sun shining through from the front (back lighting). I cropped the photo for a horizontal presentation. I also shot this at a full stop under the exposure selected by the camera, to give the image rich and deep colors.

Sigma 50mm f2.8 EX DG macro lens; 1/320; ISO 400; f18 (-1 EV); cropped and resized.
