This magnificent copper dome, glistening brilliantly on Assumption Greek Orthodox
Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, took my breath away. Copper was the earliest metal
to be used by humans. Copper mines have long been native to Arizona. Its use in the
design of this magnificent structure is befitting for its desert location.
