Very nice comp. I love the overall feel of the shot and the mood that it sets. I agree with Dan...very possibly a winner!

Nice work Dave. I am not usually a big fan of these type of shots, however this one works really well. I think it is the dew drops on the grass and the fog that make this really nice. I have done this at sunsets and have never been really happy with the results.

This one works very well for me, Dave. Nice DOF and tones. And getting the dew on the foreground grass is wonderful work.

Perhaps the burned out sun is a challenge and wonder if a different angle, more to the right so the foreground grass is not hindered by the background, would further hightlight the grass. But you may lose the marvelous lighting and texture with these changes. #4364661

Mike, David and Mick thanks for taking the time to comment. I am glad you like this image.

Mick, I was stuck with the sun myself. That morning I mostly utilized a ND Grad filter but for this shot I didn't feel I could do that and still maintain the focus on the grass. Perhapes a change in perspective would have been the answer. Thanks. Dave #4366037

Yea, that's the problem. Faced it many times myself. So the ND causes problems with the focus? Never noticed that, but you are probably right. Still not sure a change in perspective would help. Not sure of the solution. Still, a wonderful POV. I think it works overall. #4366372
