Thanks Cheryl! My mom grew this little pineapple in her backyard here in Florida. For years, she has been planting the tops of the ones she buys and this one actually bloomed. She brought it over and asked me to photograph it. #12035

Wonderful image, Peter! Your white background sets off the colors and the soft shadows perfectly, and I love the diagonal close-up. And kudos to your Mom for actually getting a planted top to flower and fruit! (I've tried for years too - lots of green foliage, period. Guess Florida is more pineapple-friendly than the SF Bay Area!) #12105
