~ Bouquet in Waiting ~ #1
Uploaded: May 12, 2004
Taken in the shade on my porch swing. F2.8, ISO 125, shutter @ 1/315, shot in manual mode. Converted to a light sepia tone, then history brushed color back in on bouquet and brought opacity down a bit for softer color. Would love to know what you think.

Goodness, thank you so much Donna! I really appreciate that! #532948Amanda E. Radovic May 12, 2004
Dale Anne - its lovely and I also really like the mother's day one too, perhaps with the green in the back desaturated a little. I am currently reading up on building and 'marketing' my own stock library so that I can sell my images to magazines, papers etc etc. The thought of a little money coming in - all done in my own time - is extremely attractive. I'll email you with the name of the books because I agree with everyone that you could easily sell your images. #532970Dale Ann Cubbage May 12, 2004
Thank you so much Amanda! Please do let me know the names of those books. I would appreciate it! #532984Darren K. Fisher May 12, 2004

Impressive floral shot, Dale Ann! The natural lighting is very good and helps to show just enough detail/texture in the flower petals. The presentation in light sepia tone really enhances the entire image. Well composed and beautifully captured! Excellent work! #533172Dale Ann Cubbage May 12, 2004
Thank you for those wonderful remarks Lisa! I really appreciate you taking time to offer such great encouragement! #533188Stanley J. Contrades May 12, 2004
Your work on this image gives it a wonderment as to what the story might be ... (?) I agree with Susan P. that it is nostalgic, though maybe not as meaningful as being with the one who has returned. Very well done, Dale Ann!!Dale Ann Cubbage May 12, 2004
Thanks Stan! I am so pleased that this image evoked so much feeling and thoughtfulness for those who viewed it. Thanks for taking time to comment on it! #533252Teri A. Moore May 13, 2004
This shot is absolutely beautiful!! It almost has that "leather and lace" look to it and certainly makes one step back and visualize their own story and history behind it. Wonderful work - great talent!Teri #533626

"Bouquet in waiting"Dale,
Beautiful job with this photo. Brings so many aspects of what I would
consider a "Southern" type feeling. Nice editing. Nice to hit it right
