Hi Michelle -- This one was pure luck! I was out doing yardwork this past weekend and spotted a ladybug, ran back into the house for the camera which was set up for macro and started exploring, only to find two ladybugs instead of one. I lot lots of pictures but because they were moving all the time, this one was the one that made it to BP! The burnt edges technique was something I learned in the Digital Wedding class, believe it or not! #4322932

By the way -- it's good to hear from you. Am anxious to get back with the group and looking forward to a short class. How was your lighting class? #4323350

Thank you LIsa. I had started out callng it something else and decided that "LoveBugs" worked better! It's so exciting when you "catch" the ordinary being "extraordinary"! #4325848

Thank you Paul and Alexis for commenting on this image. It makes me smile, too! I felt a little bit like a voyeur, but I kept on taking pictures in hopes that one would turn out. This one was it! #4337154

Well...you think that now...LOL...

Really this is a really good shot. I'll have to take some time later and go through the rest of your gallery. There are so many great photographers and so many great photos on this site it's easy to get lost in here and lose a day. #6029772
