A stunning 17 year old of whom you could not take a bad picture either this year or last. #4191655

Thanks Mary T and John. I never new what I got into this year when 65+ models were to be presented. I offered the contacts sheet at no charge but to have to edit through Four (4GB) CF card full of RAW images is a bit intimidating to say the least when still trying to pay the bill and run a medical practice. I do not want to present to them anything less than excellent. The experience has forced me to learn a lot more about the Aperture Program on my new MacBook Pro as Stan and Melissa encouraged me to do more post processing. Boy what a new learning experience but I think my future images will be better for the time invested and the learning process. Emile #4191887

Emile, what a beautiful model you photographed, excellent. Here is what I do when I have had a shoot with lots of images, I make a new folder, go through my card, those that possiblities I transfer to new folder, the others I leave in original file, to me this way the garbage (as I call them) stay and are available if I need, and I work on the new folder, and then sometimes I refine further, takes a little time but the end result for processing is really what I want #4191894

Thanks Linda and John and Stan. John & Stan I have been steep on the learning curve with this new photo editing program (Apeture) that really loves RAW which I shoot in. Finally mastered the straighten, sharpening, color temp conversion, levels of each selective color and luminesance, shadows, highlight, and all the various exposure aspects. I do not like the spot removal program though (no comparison to the clone tool in PSE3). I will probably also get soon the CS3 program when available as it is very powerful just hope I have the time to use its capabilities. Thank you all for the patience you have shown me in my developing process of this digital age. I still prefer to get it right in the camera but have learned that is no longer enough. I alway appreciate all the pointers and help as well as the stimulation to move forward.

Emile, I'm amazed by the variety of your photographic work - from wild life to fashion! This capture is simply beautiful - the composition and the take!
5D (and others) gives a wealth of data for post processing and the learning is non ending! I understand CS3 has many additional features including 3D rendering! To me to fully understand and use photoshop is a mission and huge challenge!

Thank you Amalia, Shelly, Kenneth, MH, Lynne and Ronald for your encouranging comments. MH & Shelly I am not sure when the CS3 program comes out I know the beta is being tried (Shelly available for those who have the CS2). I was going to get the CS2 but am going to wait. Heck I never mastered PSE3 for my PC but now with the Apple MacBookPro I am using Aperature which is also another learning curve but it is very picture friendly. #4194331

Emile my friend, what a stunning model and you captured her beauty most admirably!! Wonderful work! How do you like your new 5D? I'd love to move up as well, I'm very active and crawl and climb over/under stuff and my poor D70 is really taken a beating in 2-1/2 years of shooting. I love your people photos. I've got to give it a try! #4219307
