Were Freeeeeezing
Uploaded: April 11, 2007
Here are my poor Dafoldils today. We woke up to a snow and ice storm, very high winds and very cold. I sure hope they survive. I have been waiting for this flower what seems to be forever to bloom.

I'm with ya Peaches. I got alot of shots just like this today. The cold won't last long and your daffys should be okay. Nice detail on your Freeeeeeezing shot. Susan #636271Nancy (Peaches) Harker April 11, 2007
Thanks Susan. We have a lot of the branchs on my pine trees way down to the ground. Some broke right off. We had no power for 10 1/2 hours today, still no water, and it's freezing in here with no heat all day. I hope they make it, I have been going out ever day LOL to see if it has bloomed yet. #4156687Donna La Mattino Pagakis April 11, 2007

Thank you so much. I froze today taking pictures outside. It is cold. I am sick of it too LOL. It was getting so nice out and now this, but it will get warmer this weekend. 30 degrees right now, but SUPPOSED to be in the 50's this weekend. HEAT WAVE LOL #4156742Russell C. Amidon April 13, 2007
Wonderful macro shot Nancy, the snow detail is great and exposure is right on...snow is supposed to be white, good job - Russ #4164070Nancy (Peaches) Harker April 13, 2007
Thank you Russ. I really didn't do much to this picture. It was fresh snow not time to get dirty lol. I havn't tried much as flowers yet, as we don't have any blooming yet. I thought this one looked pretty cool. Hopefully this weather didn't kill them all off. #4164214Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
