Old Man of the Sea
Uploaded: April 07, 2007
I recently had the privilege of photographing a former skipper of a PT boat during WWII. He piloted a small craft in the Pacific for nearly a year and had some terrific sea tales....especially being "...the only PT boat commander who didn't know JFK personally." SC1051 was the name assigned to his vessel. He just happened to be my American History professor 20 years ago. Great fellow!

Outstanding. Your composition and use of light is spot on. Excellent portrait. #4139470Allan Farnsworth April 07, 2007
I really like the pose and direction of lighting, but I would like the hands a little darker and more light on the eyes. Would love to hear some of his stories. #4140022Alexis Yobbagy April 07, 2007
