I live in Alabama and have YET to see one of these standing and away from the asphalt of the highway. This MUST be from a zoo. Alabamians run over these poor creatures! Great shot. #4719271

Hello Eugene.
I hate to DISAPPOINT you NEIGHBOR, this was taken In my FRONT YARD. I'm not sure as to where in AL you live but, where I live they are EVERWHERE... In peoples yards, walking along the side of the street, fields, in the golf courses... ect. They are considered to be Pest. They are very distructive due to the fact they dig up lawns, gardens, crops... ect in search of food. They have very poor eye site and if you are VERY CAUTIOUS , you can walk right up to them. When I took this photo I was NO MORE than 2FT. away from it. This is a WILD Armadillo, It is NOT in a zoo.
Glad you enjoyed this image! Have a great night! :) Liz #4720848
