Should'a Fell

Description

After, what was thought to be the last cut to fall it, it still wouldn't fall so they went back to look at it! The old man yelled, "Damn thing should's fell!". Right after this, the tree finally began to sway, people ran in all directions, and down it came. Tomorrow is the last shot showing two stumps and a lesson in tree cutting. I missed the fall as I didn't think to shoot it! LOL Too busy running! LOL

Thanks Colette, Donna, Nobi, Bill, Carolyn and Char! We had so much fun that day! I had a blast with the old guy as he had a such a great character type personality! I got as many shots of him as I could! At one point he decided to drop trowel and use the woods as a toilet. I went around the trees just far enough so he could lean back and see me. I showed him the camera! He swung his fist at me and we all laughted like heck! (I didn't take the shot) In spite of the danger it was a really fun day! #472417

Thanks Dale. Yes, it was funny how he thought somehow he could see the problem. At this point it was cut all the way through and swaying without coming down. With the help of a large 4 wheel drive pick-up chained to it, by way of a pully system that my son, (earlier photo) was hanging on to, it finally came down right where we wanted it to! #472503
