Having looked at both of your galleries Kerry, I have to say that again you manage to capture a striking harmony of colour. Are these the origional colours or have you added your own artistic enhancements ? However you achieved it, the result is stunningly complex while retaining clarity. In short, you take great sunsets! Thanks for sharing them. #6988

Hi Robert: I'm pleased you're enjoying my sunset/sunrise photos! As with all my pictures, what you see are the original colors - I don't use any strong filters or other artistic enhancements.
"Marina Sunrise Reflection," by the way, is one of my favorite early-day images - partly because I almost missed it! I found the marina the afternoon before, set my alarm clock that night, and hoped for the best. Early the next morning it looked like the thick cloud cover would cancel out any dawn colors. But, although I was not confident at all, I set out anyway. When I reached the scene 15 minutes later, the clouds were just getting into position for a tremendous sunrise light show!
Thanks again, Robert #10320
