Hi all, and thanx for your comments. This critter is a snail in a shell. The spotted part is called a mantle, which can be fully retracted into the shell.

Flamingo Tongues are in the Phyllum Mollusca, in a Class called Gastropoda. Now aren't you sorry you asked . #446463
