CONTRAST OF SOFT DOWN AGAINST MY SEASONED HAND
I'M HERE TO SAVE SHE'LL NOT UNDERSTAND
TO RELEASE TO LIFE HER WILD FREEDOM SING
AS I CORRAL THEM IN EACH FRANTIC WING
I BRING MY VOICE LOW AS IF TO SOOTH
those are the first five lines of my poem for this picture

Ron, your words and image go beautifully together....I enjoyed going through your gallery a great deal. #595892Nikki McDonald January 28, 2007
I think your gallery is going to be very popular if you continue to populate it with poems and photos as beautiful as these. Is this Photoshop magic or just a magical photo opportunity recognized and seized? Either way, the photo is wonderful--it can stand alone but is enhanced by the title and poem.Nikki McDonald January 28, 2007
I feel sort of silly adding to my already long response, but I just wanted to say that I love the play on words in the title. You must have written this poem for the photo rather than the reverse--or did you originally have "pain" in the title and then see the possibilities for the illustration? #3883630Ron Roberts January 28, 2007
