Last Photo

This is the last photo made on my Nikon 70-200 zoom on the last day of 2006. Why do I say "last"... because I slipped on the thin layer of snow atop the short golf course grass and down went Garth, tripod, camera and all... Garth landed hard on his duff, and the D50 landed hard on her lens... snapped off the mount ring, bent the hood, and the lens now has the flexibility of a "Lensbaby"... and now sounds like a baby rattle... anybody have a good lens for sale?

Oh Garth, what a shame! I hope you didn't hurt yourself! I really like this shot. This must have been shot on Sunday morning. I noticed how beautiful and frosty everything was but time would not allow me to get out there...when I see this beauty...I sure wish I had of! #580831Garth Wunsch January 02, 2007
Actually, it was shot about 1:00PM Sunday... went to church first, but took the camera and tripod with me so I could shoot on the way home... I couldn't bear to see all those lovely ice crystals going to waste :-)Ray Thoms January 03, 2007
