Thanks Leanne, Stephen and Pat! I'm sorry if I've mislead anyone with the title. These columbines were shot in Independence, Texas and are nursery hybrids. The reason for the title was the flowers, light and colors reminded me of the wild columbines in the Colorado mountains where I grew up and lived for 34 years. A member of the buttercup family none of these beauties are likely to survive the Houston summer heat. #410969
