Rice Terraces of Long Ji [China Photos East Asia Pictures & Tibet Pictures]

Panasonic FZ20. Taken early in the morning just after sunrise. The rice terraces of the Dragon's Backbone Ridge in the Longshen area of China are an amazing engineering feat with the terraces stretching up to 800m.

The faded light in the background gives a lot of dimension to this photo. I can see why you wanted to capture all of the lines of the terracing. Very well done. I also shoot with the same camera - and absolutely love it's versatility and playing with the results in PhotoShop. We'll have to compare notes since I'm also new to the FZ20.
