Wooden Handicrafts - 2

Uploaded: February 29, 2004

"Swat Arts & Crafts" restores salvaged wooden carvings such as these to their old grandeur. Swat, Pakistan, is famous for its wooden handicrafts. Salvaged pieces are originally bought by dealers at auctions, then restored and sold for a pretty premium. Taken in the morning at the workshop where all the magic of restoration takes place.
