I like this photo quite a bit. The skin tones are nicely matched with the vertical blue, and the way you threw the background out of focus draws attention to your subject. He makes me wonder what he is thinking about. Because his eyes have no catchlight, it gives the photograph a very introspective quality. For me, I would have tried to get a little catchlight in his eyes. They seem a little too introspective...perhaps even sad. But, maybe that was your intent. Kudos for a nice portrait! #101189
