Port Macquarie - Sunday the Iron man race in a day of pouring rain. 912 competitiors braved a day when Port Macquarie had 80mm of rain to swim 1.9km, ride 90km & then run 21km. A friend who participated said she got wetter on the bike than during the swim. October 2006.
