Trafalgar Square, London. Given a slightly aged, weathered look with Photoshop Elements. Taken with a Canon Rebel 2000, 28-200 Sigma lens.

While the upper background lets you know its London, I feel it distracts from the subject, the fountain. I think a little tighter shot croppping it at the rainling and alittle from both the left and right, would add to the impact of this Photo. Masking the fountain and Adjusting the lightness and contrast would also add to it in my opinion. #5943

Hi Bob, thanks for your comments. You're right, the upper part of the photo does let one know it's London. I like that. The cityscape scene. But I did try what you suggested, though without the masking part, which I'm not all that familiar with yet. Here's the cropped image, with a few further adjustments in hue/saturation and brightness/contrast made to the overall picture. #8575
