Charlie, I can see why you used macro. But I am unsure of the setting for this. Do you get better shots or is it a presonal preferance. #605

Jeff, first I apologize that I didn't respond to your post earlier, but I've not received a notification that a second post had been made. This sunflower is fairly small ... maybe 6" in diameter. I needed macro mode in order to focus on the flower at a couple of inches of distance from the flower to get this composition. The settings were automatic exposure at an EV of -.3 (wanted to make sure that I didn't lose the detail in the bright yellow petals). There was sufficient light to get good depth of field on the flower, I hope this explains what you're asking and have a great day. Charlie #673
