Description

I captured this still life image in 1986. Back ground is a paper sheet painted with poster colors in harmony to subject. Light sourse is as usual, day light. Incidently I have never sent this picture in any of the compitition. Let me have your opinion, friends!

This image is painterly as in the old (very) school of still life paintings. You have wonderfully subtle hues of green throughout contrasting well with the wonderfully warm lighting, interesting POV and the painted paper is a great touch, Rakesh!!

love the concept! fabulous background...here's my personal opinion (remember Rakesh, you asked for it!) I think this photo is missing a little something that your other still lifes possess. I originally was going to say it needs more color contrast or saturation, but I'm not sure that's it. In fact, it may need less...I like the setup, but I don't see the same kind of personality here that most of your other images of this sort have. I'm not sure what I've said is helpful, but that's how I see it...Please don't attack my comments too much everyone! #3542467

Love the back ground it compliments the still life. The only thing that bothers me a tiny bit is some of the fruit it right against and cut off by the edges. Seems like I want to see the whole bannana and lemon. Other than that it is "spot on". #3544146
