Description

I took this picture during our cruise of the Danube last month. This site is somewhere between Passau and Melk in Germany. Taken with my Olympus C-3020Z.

Gerda, I'm glad to see you had fun in my native country. Nice photo, too! I've actually been thinking that I would like travel along the Danube, but whenever I go back I just spent time with family and don't get around to traveling. #5890

Thank you very much, Franziska. Yes, we did have a wonderful time on our Danube cruise. We loved the scenery along the way and the various cities and towns we stopped at. I know what you mean, though, about not having time to travel when you go back "home" for a visit. I'm from Montreal (only about 550 km or so from Toronto), and when I go back about once a year, I never have time to do much more than visit with my relatives. Oh, well. It's still nice to go back sometimes, isn't it? #8458
