Practice Burn (4)

Uploaded: September 28, 2006

Description

I recently attened a practice burn by the Plaistow, NH Fire Department. These burns are so important to the training of the firefighters. This was my first attempt at shooting a fire. I found it hard because at the height of the fire the blowout of the white flames presented quite a problem. Anyone who has had experience shooting these scenes please critique, I need some pointers. I need your help. Kathy in NH

Exif: FNumber: 3.5, ExposureBiasValue: 0/10, ExposureTime: 0.1, Flash: flash did not fire, ISO: 200, WhiteBalance: auto white balance

This is great capture, Kathy, the two fire men in the foreground makes it a winner in my eyes. #3392874

You captured this nicely, Kathy. I like how you can see the fireman's facial expression on the right. Great job. #3394109
