red barn and wildflowers......

Uploaded: August 04, 2006

Description

A friend later told me the so called wildflowers were actually a weed called "chiggers" and it was full of those pesky biting bugs....they were quite pretty I thought, turning into a beautiful cluster of flowers...I actually had clipped one and had it in my car...(no chigger bites yet!)
taken on a back country road in east Tennessee......

Beautiful capture. The red barn against all that beautiful green is excellent. Great composition and DOF.
I often wonder who it was that desided to call wild flowers "weed" and that garden flowers were better than natural flowers. These look very beatiful. I'd love to see them bloom. #497784
