Cup of Wisdom

Uploaded: July 29, 2006

Description

This is my mother-in-law. I love sitting and drinking coffee
with her in the mornings on our front porch. She is truly
a blessing to us and shares her wonderful wisdom. A true Inspiration.

How delicate her hands look, but wise with years...I too would love to sit and chat...only mine being sweet tea...
This is wonderful in color and the lighting is excellent!! Have you tried it in black and white yet?? #493418

Anita what a good eye you have! This is such a great shot and the title is perfect! She sounds like an amazing woman. #3098860

Thank you so much. She never lets me take her picture. My husband wants me to frame it for my sister-in-law.

Chastity, had not thought about b&w, but a great idea you have. Here is the result in B&W #3098937

I have to agree with Chastity here, Anita. I love this shot and you had quite an eye for getting this. B&W would look excellent as well. Nice! #3098954

LOL Anita I keep scrolling down to see it in B&W sorry I am no help in that. But I am anxious to see it. I agree with your husband, this would make a great gift for your SIL! You know what else I like? I love how the cup is half full. #3098969

Aha, it popped up while I was commenting I guess. Hmmm I think I miss the colors. Something about that touch of green and how the color of the coffee compliments her 'wisdom' spots on her hand. #3098975

It's about time..... LOL! Trula, thanks for pointing out the cup. I had not even noticed.

Gary thank you so much for your kind comments.

I had the same problem when I first tried but John Connolly helped me out. Nice to have great BP friend. Wisdom from the elders is one of our greatest gifts so often lost on the I need it now generation. Supurb capture, Anita. #3107564

Oh, I love this image Anita! Absolutely wonderful, and I like both the B&W and the colour versions. The soft pale teal colour and the specks on the coffee cup are sooooo grandma! Excellent story telling image with a sentimental tug at the heart strings. #3479103
