My Favorite Place

Description

Yep Mabry Mill along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Done a few things here. I used monochrome effect, faded color back in at about 70% then history brushed some areas back in a bit darker. Added the dreamy effect with a black tint to give more color, and then added the buzz and resharpened after I did all of this.

You did an incredible job Darren! You brought out the brilliance and personality of this beautiful landmark of the parkway. I too am a huge fan of Mabry Mill, as I live not too far north of it (right off the parkway)!!

I have the mill posted on my gallery as well. Three of my four children are sitting down facing it. I turned it black and white. I photographed several other things there too.
