Kenosha Harbor Historic Lighthouse 3

Uploaded: December 04, 2003

Description

Aperture priority, f/22 @ 1/40, ISO 100, 18-55mm lens at 18mm, tripod. I moved the camera to eliminate the tree branches that were in the background. If I had moved the camera to the left, I would have gotten the branches in the frame.

Pat,
Did you use your polerizer on this one? The sky is so nice and rich. The lighthouse is a very strong foreground subject, and I do like the distorted effect of the lighthouse tilting into the frame, along with the fence in the background angling down out of the frame.. Nice work! #82067

No polarizer, Mary. I just picked the aperture, let the camera pick the shutter speed and shot. I actually used the blue sky for the metering point. This shot had no PS enhancements except for auto contrast and resizing. #305590
