Thank you so much, Stephanie and Allen! I love transferring images onto watercolor paper by using Polaroid films, and handcoloring to give a less literal and more subjective interpretation to my work. I teach courses in the Polaroid processes, through BetterPhoto and in person, if you are interested in learning how to do it.

I do not know what Polaroid transfer is, but this being an indication I would like to know. I take it you shot the photo then used this Polaroid transfer to do the work. Very well done too I may add. Des #2621038

Des, thank you! This Polaroid transfer started out as a 35mm color slide that I exposed onto peel-apart Polaroid film. Instead of letting the film develop fully, I peeled the negative off of the print early and placed the negative on watercolor paper to develop. After removing the negative, I handcolored the image with pastel pencils. You can also make Polaroid transfers with 4x5 photo or digital prints. I've just started a Polaroid Image and Emulsion Transfer course on April 5 with BetterPhoto.
