f/3.5, 1.3 Seconds, ISO64, -.3ev.
I didn't have an end result in mind until partway through my experimentation,
as I saw this wonderfully glowing effect start to take shape.
In PSE2 created about 5 Layers, testing different effects on each layer.
Used Multiply, Screen and Lighten along with different Opacities for each.
One layer was extreme Gausian Blur. (Thanks, Sipho!)
Another was Levels and Enhance Saturation.
I was exploring and undoing so many things, I've probably left a step out!

Chris, I never saw this image before, but it is beautiful. Really "glows" with color. #5710999Chris Budny March 28, 2008
Thanks, Don... this is an old one of mine, re-entered for Good Friday, shot back in my Sony camera days. Back I was first starting to explore Photoshop manipulations, with some suggestions from BP'er Sipho Eish. It is like a version of the Orton Effect, only I didn't know about that at the time, and probably spent way too many hours trying to achieve this! #5712405Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
