Hi Alan, Great photo! Would you tell me a little about this Nikon Dix camera. The resolution and sharpness is excellent. #4971

Thanks Donna. BTW, this was my submission for last week's assignment in the Bryan Peterson Photo Course.

The resolution/sharpness on these posted photos always looks marginal to me compared to the versions on my computer - as the original as taken by the camera is about 3000 x 2000 pixels, and the uploaded version is only 750x500. I merely re-size and apply a little USM in Photoshop.

The D1x is one of Nikon's digital SLRs that accept their lenses for 35mm cameras. The D1x is 6 mp and can shoot up to 3 fps; the D1h is 3 mp and can shoot faster. Canon also makes digital SLRs (1D, D60) that work with Canon 35mm lenses. Look at the reviews and forums at www.dpreview.com for lots more info on these (and other) digital cameras. These cameras are still pretty pricey, but coming down in price quickly. They can pay for themselves pretty fast though, if you shoot a lot. #7136
