The flag is actually several miles away at a state park.

Great capture Tamera, love the flag in the background! #2989353Dennis Flanagan July 05, 2006
Really sharp focus. Not easy to do at 300mm. #2989384Ken Smith July 05, 2006
It'd be really cool if the pronghorn could somehow salute the flag. Maybe that can be your next project. Good job combining the two pictures. #2989451Tamara K. Walker July 05, 2006
Thanks for all of the nice comments.Ken, this is just one picture. I will work on getting them to salute. #2989477

Tamara, OK you were barely right. :-) #2992668Tamara K. Walker July 06, 2006
After some research (someone has too much spare time) I must correct my original statement. The flag is a little over one mile by the way the crow flies. If you walked the distance it would be a couple of miles. Thanks so much guys (You know who you are) for all the concern and extra attention you gave this matter. It great to know some one cares so much. #2992778

I'm not sure who the "guys" are, but if you want to be correct, you should go back into "Your Photos" and update the mileage on the description. We're there for you. :-) #2993155Kenneth Mucke July 06, 2006
Really great capture ...no matter how far away the flag really is...LOL #2993780Tamara K. Walker July 06, 2006
Thank you so much Kenneth, I think the "guys" could learn from you. #2993824ALLEN O. HOWARD July 08, 2006
