Lighthouse on the Miss

Uploaded: June 26, 2006

Description

This photo was taken along the banks of the mighty mississippi river. I changed the orignial to Sepia tone and bruned the clouds and edges. I thought this would give the photograph a vintage look from back in the days when it was in used to aide rivergoing vessels in navigation. Settings were ISO 100, 1/400sec, f5.6, 28-135mm IS lens on my 20D.

Thanks for the comments. I am going to shoot some more of these lighthouses and create a HDR (high dynamic range) image on my next trip back home.
