One of the leading runners - each of the lead pack had a cyclist escort. Having completed a 3.8km swim, a 180.2km ride and now he has only 18km's left run - the end is in sight. This one fished in the daylight. Many faced a long lonely night pounding the pavement. April 2006 Port Macquarie.
