Cora, I am grateful for the insightful thoughts and suggestions; I feel priveleged to have such a talented eye's critique. I am capturing more photos in RAW lately, but unfortunately this was not one of them. :( I will, however, see what I can do about those distracting branches in Photoshop Elements...
