Evening Chicago Cityscape

I know this image has been posted numerous times but Ive had a desire to shoot this for years. Finally I had the time and equipment to do it justice hopefully. Chicago cityscape taken this past monday and merged by hand in PS from 8 images. Photo was taken approx. 9:30 pm.

Hi Paul, I see my comment via direct bounced. It came out pretty good. You ran into the same problems with distortion on the right side of the image. The Aon Building (monolith on the right) is leaning. This where the heavy sectoring of the frames (in some cases 80% of the frame was discarded to solve the bend problem). I ended up shooting that sequence so many times, it was funny. That Engineering background will have you back there again.Jim #2829747

Thanks Dorann and Ronald. Jim, Yeah for my first time shooting a cityscape that big I needed to get a feel for it and have some images to toy with. This was my first piecing together of images. Ill be back for sure, I have alot of ideas and other places I want to shoot yet.
