What a stunning photo, Donna! The composition and colors make this a piece of art! #69267Donna Devine October 25, 2003
Thanks, Mary. I'm pleased you like this image. I was in Yorkshire last weekend, and could have spent ages just in this corner. The blue spruce was what originally caught my eye. #244504Mary K. Robison October 25, 2003
That spruce is certainly the centerpiece ~ but the extension of the blue in the sky, plus those stormy-looking clouds, gives your photo a real three-D effect, and great mood. Hope this finds its way to the finals next month, Donna. #244555Sharon E. Lowe October 25, 2003
Donna - this is lovely! The light and the colors are just wonderful!! #244651Donna Devine October 25, 2003
Thanks very much, Sharon. (-: I've just had a look at your gallery. Some wonderful images. I love 'At Water's Edge' and the Flood effect. Been meaning to buy that plug-in for ages, and perhaps I really will now. (-: #244667Sharon E. Lowe October 25, 2003
Donna - thanks! Yes, the flood filter is great fun and worth having. #244675Heather L. Jacks October 25, 2003
Really a great shot! #244681Jeff Robinson October 25, 2003
Really well accomplished Donna.... I agree, it has a very art feel to the image. I also thing it makes a nice Halloween picture that gets away from the traditional pumpkins and other common theme items that we typically see! Great job.... Jeff #244725Stephen Zacker October 25, 2003
Love the quality of the light. It has a very peaceful feeling to it! #244773Sara West November 22, 2003
Looking at your gallery and this picture jumped out at me. I love everything about it. The colors are stunning and the peacefulness shows through. #277786Donna Devine November 22, 2003
Thanks Sara, and everyone. (-: I'd love to have spent the whole day there. The atmosphere was wonderful. #277797Mary K. Robison November 22, 2003
Can't believe they overlooked this one for the finals, Donna ~ you was robbed!!! #277861Donna Devine November 22, 2003
LOL Thanks, Mary. (-: Still, I guess I didn't do too badly with the other two. (-: #277868Samantha M. Andrew November 24, 2003
What a beautiful photo. Love the colours. #279125Steve Hopkins December 20, 2003
Nice photo Donna. The brilliance of the colors make it really jump out. What time of day. Did you do any tweaking in a "photoshop" program? I though it looked like a hand colored print of a b&w, and very nice at that. #301106Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
