Tiffen 812 and Singh Ray diffusion filter and the slide sandwich technique.

Sorry Tony but what is a slide sandwich? Sounds like combining several slides to create one image... sort of a lab created muliple exposure. Am I close?

Sorta close. It's 2 slides exposed differently and "sandwiched" into one slide mount (Gepe glassless mounts). The exposures can slightly vary, but basically the first exposure is f/22 at +2; the second image is wide open at +1 and slightly defocused. #28378
