Not too busy there yesterday then Joe. It looks like a study in grey! Nice lines though and composition! #441198Joe Terni May 16, 2006
A bit murky that day Kate,on the old Claremont jetty.I spent a lot of time on this jetty with my father when life was young, and fish were plentiful and crabs were too.Days gone by.Thanks Kate. #2770963Kate Jackson May 16, 2006
We have a similar shape jetty at West Mersea. We call the end bit the hammer head. In summer it is packed with kids and buckets crabbing with bacon tied to the end of a piece of string or fishing line. I will take a picture of all the activity one day. The crabs are very small though - not edible. (Unless you are starving of course. They all get in the way of Yacht Club members wheeling there trolleys down to load up there gin palaces plus to launch their dinghies to get to their yachts. They complain about the kids getting in the way but I love to see them! #2771132Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
