Nice macro, Ariel! The background blur is fantastic, and really gives that red some punch! #2692058

Very nice macro shot too. I like the shallow depth of field.
Thank you for your comments on the Kiwi shot I had another Kiwi behind the one I cut open. #2702955

Ariel Lepor April 28, 2006

Oh, that's cool about the Kiwi. Thank you! The shallow depth of field was a result of the size of my camera, my macro lens, and the fact I used zoom. I really am much more pleased with the DOF I get with my Fuji over the DOF I got with my HP. #2702989

Hey, everyone, I'd like to ask you something. Here is an edited version of "It's All Downhill From Here". How do you like it (compared with the first one)? Do you think I should enter it into the contest? #2886806

Hey, everyone, I'd like to ask you something. Here is an edited version of "It's All Downhill From Here". How do you like it (compared with the first one)? Do you think I should enter it into the contest? Is it better than "I'm gonna make it!"? #2886808

Ariel Lepor June 12, 2006

And here is a crop of "I'm gonna make it!". Is this better? #2886842

Juan Leon June 20, 2006

Nice gallery Ariel. About your question, I think the crop is better than original one, of course the thirds rule works.

Regards #2920234

Ariel Lepor June 20, 2006

Really? Thanks for the input, Juan. Someone told me that they like the un-cropped one better because the colors are more balanced. But you really think the crop is better? Anyone else have something to say about it? Should I replace my gallery photo with the cropped one? #2920882
