Taken in morning, part shade, one of the few irises of mine that bloomed. Used closeup setting on camera, handheld, no flash.

P.S. I meant to add I used PHOTOSTUDIO to sharpen the image and ^ contrast by 20. This is the natural color of the flower. #62312

Leanne, I hadn't seen a gold one either till I bought a bag of bulbs at a yard sale from an elderly lady who was moving in with her kids and had to thin out her supply. I'm not that great of a gardener anyway...if it survives my gardening skills, it's pretty tough!LOL! #214583
