I love it Claudia! Who could resist a face like that??? I like the high key effect, and the up-close composition. This is a perfect match for the high key image of my white cat I submitted a few days ago, lol... (Good to see you here, Claudia.) #61515

Thanks Sherrie, Paul, Jean, Janet, Sharon, Jennifer, Brinn, Lori and M.E. for the words of encouragement. Jean for me "High Key" means to rid the image of little detail and leaving more prominent parts such as eyes, nose mouth, etc. visible. Sherrie to do this, first and foremost it helps that I have a white dog! I have a small make-shift studio set up in a spare bedroom and use a white (roll of photographic paper) backdrop with 1 flash w/umbrella. That's it. I make a lot of bracketted shots and work with them in Photoshop. I try to fade Looie into the background w/o blowing him out (whites being too bright). I also use Selective Color and darken the blacks and lighten the whites and a little Unsharp Mask and a willing subject :-) #210890
