Hi again Rebecca. This is a cute photo with adorable expressions and good framing.

However there were some essential portrait elements that were missed here. The most important part of a portrait is the eyes. The lighting here seems to be coming from above, casting a slight shadow over the eyes. The eyes should really communicate the expression and grab the viewer, and they appear slightly dark to me. To fix that, it would have been good to get some side or more frontal lighting.

Also due to the lighting, there is a "burned out" patch on top of the younger kid's head. Burnout happens where part of a photo is overexposed, and is considered a technical flaw that should be avoided in most places. The light was a bit too bright in that area.
