Colors from the Heart

Description

Whidbey Island. A quick story on this image. This was probably one of the the last images I captured on this morning during the second morning of a three day bicycle ride along the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands of Washington. Sometimes staying healthy and watching what you eat can never prepare you for the unexpected. Shortly thereafter I discovered I had a heart problem which put me in the hospital overnight. Needless to say everything turned out just fine with my heart. As I was being taken away in the ambulance all I could think was I hope my wife isn't worrying too much (she was with me) and if any of those beautiful morning photo's were worthy. One thing led to another and nearly two years later I finally get around to, and remember to take a closer look at my Puget Sound bicycle ride images. So here is one of my heart felt photo's. Hope you enjoy! Minor tweaks with Hue/Sat and Brghtns/Consrst. 1/250 at f/5.2
