Thank you Donna,
I don't know why this picture did not come out sharp, I did use a tripod. The lens I used was a 55mm x 200mm f/4.5, set on my canon A-1, I think the d/f was between, f/11 or f/16.Out of this role of 24, 5 came out so so, the rest of them had vertical lines of light through them. I think I have to reseal the camera. #5779

Ray, It does appear that you used a tripod. Everything is quite level. What did you focus on or did you focus to infinity. If your apeature was 16, your shutter was probably quite slow.f/16 is not real sharp with a long lens anyway. The picture honestly looks real good and as far as not being sharp, that wasn't a problem in my mind. The only concern of mine was that you should have focused in a little closer to the girl and dog. Good luck with your camera and yes, have it fixed. You are doing real well and you should continue shooting without the stress of a light leak and wasted rolls of film and developing costs. #5783

Ray, When I shoot a picture like this I usually focus on the forground subject and let the DOF do its thing with the rest. Try that. #5784
